When I was still working at Google, one of my colleagues, Uygar, never kept his cell phone with him.  I asked him what the use was of a cell phone if he never brought it around.  He said he was worried about the radiation from the cell phone in his pocket hurting his family jewels.  I asked him if I made a pant whose pockets were lined with tin foil, if he would wear it, and he said that not only he would wear it, but he would pay double for it!
Uygar is a smart man.  While the jury is still out on whether Electro Magnetic Fields from mobile phones hurt us, phones are legally allowed to emit 1.6 watts per kilogram of radio frequency, and one might prefer some insurance. So we’ve made a pant with copper and nickel plated pocket bags that block potentially harmful radiation.
